Since 2013, the relevant national ministries and commissions have encouraged the release of 18 policy documents supporting the development of the medical device industry. In particular, the new “Regulations on the Supervision and Administration of Medical Devices” issued in June 2014 has, to some extent, achieved a policy for the medical device industry. Loosening is expected to boost the development of the domestic medical device industry to a new level, and the process of promoting “domesticization” in the field of medical devices, especially high-end medical devices, is accelerating.

According to relevant statistics, since 2014, in addition to pharmaceutical companies laying out their own industrial chains, even some companies have achieved cross-border mergers and acquisitions. For example, software company Neusoft Group uses its own advantages to acquire smart medical services through acquisitions and other means. Emerging areas expanded; commercial chain company HTC also revealed that it is developing a number of mobile medical device products; and Xinhai Co., Ltd. as a lighter also said that it has been tracking and focusing on the development of the medical device industry, and its current medical device products account for the main About 13% of revenue.
